Wet Bag Reviews

A wet bag is a VERY important part of your stash..... A couple of them are usually a good idea.

Personally I don't care for wet bags made of PUL. They don't contain smells very well though they have many many cute prints and are not usually very pricey. While they are cute and cheap, they won't hold those smells in over a long trip and tend to fall apart with regular washing.

I prefer something that has a fabric outer (not only does this make them wash very well, it gives you the option of endless prints for your pleasure) and a barrier of some kind on the inside. I make this very kind of wet bag and I think they are the best. A nice fabric and a medical grade antimicrobial inner.

Not only do they keep the dampness in, they keep any and all smells in over any length of trip!

Sarah (Barrie, ON)I found Bummis delaminated quickly, XL planet wize is still going stong. XL Bububebe is awesome aside from the fact that the strap is not strong enough for the size of the bag :( but I really like that it is made with procare instead of pul.

Jill (Canada)I have an itti bitti minky wetbag and a bunch of Diaper Palz bags. The itti bitti is gorgeous, but the zipper is about an inch and a half down one side instead of right at the end. Aesthetically it's great, but the zipper placement makes getting things into it annoying at times. Now the Diaper Palz bags are great. Two sizes plus a huge travel bag. All have a snapping strap at one corner so you can hang it from whatever is handy. Great prints and colours, holds everything in including smell, sturdy zippers, and the best prices I've come across. They aren't the fanciest things around, but they can't be beat for functionality!

I have a large and medium from Sling Sisters.... The medium I love and the large I somewhat hate. The inner PUL in the large is thin and leaks which means the outer cloth is constantly wet and defeating the purpose. The medium is great th...ough, the PUL is nice and thick and no leaks. They come in great prints (that are not childish), however, after a few washes they look really worn and faded. The zipper closer is nice and secure. Overall I probably wouldn't run out and buy another one, I would search out a different brand. They are not cheap and I do not think they are worth the money I paid for them. I give them a 5/10.

Jennifer (Fonthill, ON)Wylde Bums. I am really pleased with my small wet bag. The stitching is very good and secure, same with the zipper. The fabric and zipper match! (that kind of surprised me as I wasn't expecting that)
As for the size, I wanted a bag to hold my wipes. It is perfect! I also have a large (super large) size wet bag! Construction is great! I am able to stuff it full with diapers or with dirty clothes and just dump it in the washer. Great quality for the price! Totally would recommend Wylde Bums!

I've got a Planet Wise wet/dry bag (medium) and I'm in love with it!
Pros:
The wet section keeps in wettest and smells with out absorbing the smells. This means that I'm not carting stench around and can use it for more than one outing without having to wash it. I actually wash it a about once a week, whether I need to or not, usually not!
The dry section easily holds my change pad, wipes container, CJ's sick or other bum cream, a drying cloth, and my diapers.
There's lots of space. I usually take 6+ diapers. They easily fit in the dry section on my way out and either all in the wet section or distributed through the wet and dry sections on my way home.
Cons:
It takes forever for it to dry when I hang it indoors. Outdoors not so bad.
I only have one :(

Libbi (USA)I have wonderful things to say about Kushies. They came ia 2 pack for $10. Totally worth it.I got the large and they hold about 4-5 RaR's and do not leak. I have been using them for a about a year and a half. I also have been using a Thristies that is about the same size, maybe a little bigger. I also have nothing bad to report on it. I have been using it for a year with no problems.

I have two Alva wetbags, which I love! They are the perfect size to go in a diaper bag, and have two different zippered pockets (Which I love because I can put diapers in the big pocket, and any wet clothes in the smaller pocket). I also ha...ve a Bububibi wetbag, it holds about 30 diapers in the big zippered pockets, and it has a small pocket on the outside that's not zippered, so I don't think I'll use that pocket much. I plan on using the Bububibi wetbag for travel, since it's big enough to hold 3 days of diapers, and has a zipper to hold in the smell.

I have the Fuzzibunz hanging wet bag with the zipper at the bottom. I like that it can hang on a doorknob (we keep one on the back of the bathroom door). I love the zipper on the bottom because I can just unzip and all the diapers fall in...to the washing machine, no problem! It also doesn't have the issue of holding water so it dries quickly.

My old ones are made by Wahmie and the PUL is falling apart on them and we kept it in a garbage can with a lid. Every time I opened it to put one in or to empty it, it was horribly smelly.

Been using my ApplCheeks Size 2 Stoarge Sac and still in the same condition as whenI first bought it! Holds TONS of diapers. mywhole stash about 40ishdiapers:)

I can't find the picture, so I will tell you what I like about our Wylde Bums wet bag. I love that ours is HUGE!!! It can hold lots of diapers or dirty clothes from when we have been at the beach or on vacation. The stitching is done really well, NO leaks!!! Our big bag washes well and still looks brand new! We also have a small wet bag that I use as a wipe bag. It is the perfect size for a package of wipes. The wipes stay wet inside and the bag stays dry on the outside! The zipper slides well. When I show off our wipe bag our friends are jealous! We recommend Wylde Bums to everyone!
